Bank Union strike over five working days a week, banking services affected

नई दिल्ली। यूनाइटेड फोरम ऑफ बैंक यूनियन (यूएफबीयू) ने पाँच कार्य दिवस लागू करने और अन्य समस्याओं को लेकर शुक्रवार को हड़ताल की, जिससे बैंकिंग सेवाओं, विशेष रूप से सरकारी बैंकों पर असर पड़ा है।  

यूएफबीयू में कुल सात बैंकिंग यूनियन शामिल हैं और इसमें सरकारी बैंकों के लगभग 90 प्रतिशत कर्मचारी शामिल हैं। हालाँकि, इस हड़ताल का असर निजी बैंकों की सेवाओं पर नहीं पड़ा है।  

कई सरकारी बैंक कर्मचारियों के हड़ताल में शामिल होने के कारण सरकारी बैंकों की शाखाएँ या तो पूरी तरह से बंद हैं या आंशिक रूप से काम कर रही हैं।  

कई शाखाओं में नकद जमा, निकासी, चेक क्लियरेंस और प्रशासनिक कार्य प्रभावित हुए।  हालांकि, सरकारी बैंकों की डिजिटल सेवाओं पर इस हड़ताल का कोई असर नहीं पड़ा है।

Along with internet banking, UPI services have also remained normal. Several government banks have also issued advisories to customers regarding this and advised them to use alternative banking services. Bank of Baroda has stated that banking operations may be affected due to the UFBU strike on September 11. We will try to provide all essential services during this period. Also, customers are advised to use alternative banking services such as mobile banking, internet banking, ATMs, and other digital channels in this situation. Meanwhile, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has said that a one-day strike of UFBU is proposed for September 11, 2026. We will make every possible effort to keep banking services normal. Customers are requested to use alternative channels such as PNB One, UPI, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, and other digital channels for their banking needs.
